Galloway OH is a happening place in the real estate world! Galloway, located in Central OH’s west side saw over 480 house sales in 2021. And of those sales, approximately 120 of them were ranch style houses. It’s no doubt that one story houses are popular floor plans. Typically in neighborhoods, one story houses sell higher per square foot than other floor plans ( two story, split level, bi-level ).
According to the Columbus OH MLS, 54 houses sold in Galloway Ridge ( Jan 1st to November 27, 2021 ). 12 of those house sales were ranch style houses selling at $170 per square foot. It’s important to note that those same houses were listed originally for $163 per square foot. Why did those houses sell higher than original list price? In the last couple of years, sellers have been selling their houses for more than list price, having multiple offers on the table from home buyers and investors. The market is pretty exciting right now.
That isn’t to say you’ll see that kind of action with all sellers/ real estate agents.
